Danish Crown Supertops Pre-Cooked Smokey Bacon Category Winner Francesco Macri from Pizza Pilgrims and their Smoky Crown pizza
Ingredients
- 40 Gr Danish Crown Supertops Pre-Cooked Smokey Bacon
- 85 Gr Carrot Cream
- 140 Gr Futura Pro Mozzarella
- 10 Gr Shaved Pecorino Cheese
- 2 Gr Basil
- 5 Gr Grounded Black Pepper
- 280 Gr Pizza Dough
Method
- Make pizza Dough and after 2-3 hours put it in the fridge
- After 24 Hours make the Ball
- Keep the ball rising for 4-7 hours and when it is ready
- Open it whit white flour on the table
- Prepare the base with Carrot Cream, Futura Cheese and the smokey Bacon and Cook it in the Oven
- When it is ready, lay it on a plate and we end it with shaved pecorico, basil and Grounded Black Pepper
- Ready to be Served
Chef’s Secret
Uses a third of the weight of the smokey bacon in the dough of the pizza, the rest of it in fusion with the Mozzarella in cooking.
