Danish Crown Supertops Pre-Cooked Smokey Bacon Category Winner Francesco Macri from Pizza Pilgrims and their Smoky Crown pizza

Ingredients

  • 40 Gr Danish Crown Supertops Pre-Cooked Smokey Bacon
  • 85 Gr  Carrot  Cream
  • 140 Gr Futura Pro Mozzarella
  • 10 Gr Shaved Pecorino Cheese
  • 2 Gr Basil
  • 5 Gr Grounded Black Pepper
  • 280 Gr Pizza Dough

 

Method

  1. Make pizza Dough and after 2-3 hours put it in the fridge
  2. After 24 Hours make the Ball
  3. Keep the ball rising for 4-7 hours and when it is ready
  4. Open it whit white flour on the table
  5. Prepare the base with Carrot Cream, Futura Cheese and the smokey Bacon and Cook it in the Oven
  6. When it is ready, lay it on a plate and we end it with shaved pecorico, basil and Grounded Black Pepper
  7. Ready to be Served

Chef’s Secret

Uses a third of the weight of the smokey bacon in the dough of the pizza, the rest of it in fusion with the Mozzarella in cooking.
