Unox will integrate Roboqbo’s advanced robotic and process-automation technologies with its existing portfolio of multifunctional ovens. This combined offering will extend automation to cooking and preparation tasks that cannot be performed inside an oven, supporting the group’s long-term goal of building a complete ecosystem for fully automated kitchen operations.
Founded in 1978 in Bentivoglio, Bologna, Roboqbo is recognised for its engineering excellence and R&D driven approach to automation solutions for the food (and cosmetics) industries. In 2024, the company recorded revenues of approximately €17 million and currently employs over 120 people.
Roboqbo’s flagship solution, the Qbo Universal Processing System, is a multifunctional, all-in-one unit capable of replacing multiple pieces of standalone equipment, including mixers, cutters, meat grinders and pasteurisers.
Unox distributes ovens in more than 110 countries, supported by direct offices and subsidiaries in 44 markets. More than 770 employees worldwide work across Unox marketing, sales, customer care and technical support.

“Full integration with our technological and supply-chain infrastructure will take around three years, but it will generate additional commercial and industrial synergies, with a positive impact on the Bentivoglio area where Roboqbo has always been based.”
Roboqbo will continue to operate from its long-standing headquarters in Bentivoglio, Bologna, at the heart of Italy’s Food Valley.
